Fall means cooler weather, changing leaves, and pumpkins! Here in the library, we love to celebrate fall and reading with our storytelling pumpkins. Any student or teacher can participate. Just choose your favorite storybook character and decorate a pumpkin to reflect that character! You can use glitter, paper, foam, cloth, paints, markers, really any materials you want to jazz up and decorate your pumpkin. You may use a real pumpkin (smaller than a basketball) or a plastic or paper pumpkin. You can check out our gallery from last year below, but I am so excited to see your new ideas for this year. Please DO NOT carve or cut into your pumpkin. We don't want to attract bugs! Stop by the library to pick up an entry form or download it below! All pumpkins will be on display for the rest of October, and all participants will receive a prize! Pick up your pumpkins to take home on Tuesday, October 31st. Happy decorating!
